Re: Revs spike during gearshift
My sister's SX4 does the same thing since new. Must be the drive by wire system is slow to react. Engaging the clutch causes the tranny and engine to disengage removing load on the engine causing a spike as the computer is slow to react when the throttle (gas pedal) is released. Sounds like it eases...

Re: Steel Wheels?
I test fitted my wife's snow tires OEM SX4 16 inch aluminum wheels and it fits perfectly. You should be able to order by size vs. by vehicle. 5x114.3 with 60.1 hub (or use hub centric rings with ID of 60.1). I believe the tire size would be 215/60-16. If it does not allow, use SX4 as the vehicle and...

Re: Snow Tires are in the garage
that is a good price for blizzaks with rims. I am contemplating on getting Conti's ExtremeWinterContact 215/55-17. Try to get caps on the steelies. Last year, when I remove my sisters snow tires on steelies, I had to wire brush around the hub to remove the rust as the oem alloys were fitting tight. ...

That engine does not have 'gas' mileage.TheHolyGhost wrote:That is pretty interesting. Which did you pick? I would have chosen diesel probably, I love the gas mileage and the torque.

Re: Long-term Test @ Inside Line
There have been 4 Kizashies sold locally, and I have yet to see a manual in there inventory. Also I have never seen one on the road... I have a feeling that the Canadians might be snatching them up and running back to Canada with them. (no offense Canadians) Most possibly, the only available trim h...
