Re: Another Aussie.

Wining CVT is not unusual - look in owners manual, the fluid need to be replaced - use the correct one or else.

If driven in the mountains frequently, it should be done at 60,000 miles. Mine started wining then for that reason, so was taken care of.

Re: CVT Transmission...problems, problems, and more problems

Sounds like you are driving like many Toyota Prius drivers - lol.

Hope you stay in the right lane - as being in front of other cars starting up at only 2000 RPM, traveling under the limit on an interstate, and not maintaining speed up a grade is an invitation to road rage.

Re: CVT Transmission...problems, problems, and more problems

The dip at 20 sounds really odd to me. It seems that Suzuki may have traded one problem for another. The lag I and many others experience is from 0 to 20. After that it takes off pretty good. This is at full throttle when trying to get up to speed on a short highway entrance ramp or making a right t...

Re: CVT Transmission...problems, problems, and more problems

I truly believe there was some issues with a batch of the JATCO CVT's on the 2010 KIZZY. Curious what your build date was on your Kizzy FitGyrl? My CVT went at 3600 miles. My dealer put me in a rental and replaced the tranny and i am at 16K miles without any issues since then. The JF011E JATCO tran...

Re: Intake idea....

In a fuel injected car with O2 sensors, more air = more fuel = worse mileage Not really the case - unless the installation screws up the operation of the sensors. Millage will be only impacted by changing the fuel/air ratio. More total air (at same density) going through the system at max throttle ...

Re: Curbs and Kizashi don't mix

I would think with a removal/remount of a tire, they would be history. You get a 5th piece that could be applied after fixing a flat one time. I have mixed a color close to the wheel with the small paint touch-up kits (the small ones with a brush) that works pretty good after smoothing the scrape off.

I would guess that is a care-giver's car. No way a mentally impaired senior would have been able to acquire one.
