Re: Low humming/rumble after 38 mph. CVT problem???

To my knowledge, the steering is 'drive by wire'. No real mechanical connection to the steering rack via the steering wheel. Servo/stepper motor 'gearbox' so to speak. No, that would mean if the power went out you'd have no steering at all, no one would build a car like that (nor would they be allo...

Re: Roadtrip over the weekend with 29.8 MPG

That sounds pretty normal to me for AWD CVT, confirms that it is the in town driving which is messing you up most of the time. I get about 32 mpg in those conditions but I've got a FWD 6 speed.

I doubt that, it's probably just temperature.

I don't think there's any non Ethanol fuel available in the States except for farm or marine stores.

Re: Breaks service

I'm used to getting 50K miles/80K kilometers out of my brakes, but that's with the way I drive and previous cars, we'll see if the Kizashi stacks up similarly. Also, I always have a manual transmission, automatics are a bit harder on the brakes.

Re: Rear Deck Spoiler

Yeah, that's just a generic spoiler that sort of fits a lot of cars. Whether it fits your particular car is pretty random. Notice they're showing it on a Pontiac.

Re: Family of Suzukis

Yeah, I've had five Geo Metros, a Swift, an Aerio, and the Kizashi. Don't see how I could have done any more. What!? You mean no Samurai, no Sidekick, no Grand Vitara, no XL-7, and no Esteem? Just kidding. Wouldn't own a truck, but I did miss the Esteem, those were fairly nice. Also my nephew bough...
