You deleted the center resonator and it made no difference? Do you have stock mufflers on? When i took out my resonator the car became much much louder but then again i replaced it with 2.5" straight pipe all the way back

Re: CVT Acceleration Challenge?

You mean mash your wee-pedal and wait a minute or so and then look down and you're only going 60 lol. The cvt's in these things are so lethargic it makes me angry. I've never tested a steady rpm to reach a speed but I have timed 0-60 runs and using the slap shift vs. the fully auto it actually prove...

My thoughts were exactly your Kuro, however, thermostat is functioning as it should as is the water pump. Everything was checked during the pressure test and it was performed multiple times.

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

Hey guys, some of you might recall my engine issues in the past but... anyway ran into a few issues this week. Drove to work 5 miles car had no issues, drove to a gas station during my lunch break (1 mile) and when I got back to work my car overheated. Temp gauge was going up as I pulled into work, ...

Re: CVT Turbo

I don't see it being that big of a task. I'm aware of SOHC honda's that make like 106hp make 350hp with just boost and a good tune, no internals. If I'm not mistaken he was running around 24psi. The j24 in the kizashi can hold some pretty serious power as seen in the salt flats car that hit 200+ mph...

Re: CVT Turbo

Although I agree the cvt won't handle much more than the stock power, considering we're starting to see some just fail from normal use, the manual transmission can easily handle power. I found someone who actually has a RRM turbo kit on his kizashi and he's dailying it at 350whp

Re: Advise on New Suspension

Glad to hear you got a new set of shoes! Although I'm a fanboy for the large wheel manufacturer's (Work, Rays, WCI, etc..) I dig the style and they should fit nicely.
