Re: CVT fluid looks brand new?
How are you determining "crystal clear"? Have you drained fluid and looked at it in a container? What appears on your rag is definitely not what a couple ounces out of the trans will look like. That said, it is possible someone did the painstakingly long-n-slow poor-man's flush which would...

Re: new 2013 sls owner, wondering about upper cvt fluid filter o-ring!
That O-ring is one of those things that, if you're going to go in and replace the filter, it's comforting to have a new one sitting there...just in case. It's only a few dollars. That said, the O-ring is a quality part and could be reused. I could have reused mine after 80k. I kept it as a spare. He...

Re: AC Drain Hose
No, it's the humidity in the air that collects in the heater box and needs to drain out onto the pavement. Just like your window unit at home it's going to build up pink mold and sticky gel that eventually clogs the drain. Driving without it on will dry everything up and greatly reduce your chances...

I'd think one would stand a better chance of finding an ice blue in non-sport S or SE flavor since most of the ones I'd seen in that color we all the non-sport valance models like my 2010 GTS. Might have to gra...

Re: What brand of CVT fluid do you use?
If you haven't ever replaced the fluid before 95k, it was waaay long overdue. You'll need to do at least a couple more drain and fills to make any kind of difference in the quality of the fluid remaining in the trans. The solution to pollution is dilution. I did 3 drain and fills at around 80k. On t...

Did you ask her which version of the recall for the same problem the car received? I assume you had the first, original vent tube recall fix done.OliverB wrote:I called an ex dealer for an appointment. The lady on the phone said all the recalls had already been done on the car.

Re: 2013 Suzuki Kizashi Recall
If your VIN is affected by this recall, I'd get it dealt with sooner rather than later. Call ASMC and find out if the recall applies to you, and, if the your car has already been taken care of before you obtained it. If not, they can direct you to the nearest Service Center to have the recall work p...

That sounds like some encouraging good news right there. And, further evidence that factory fills should have been changed out long ago (on a normal schedule) as opposed to never.
