Re: Attention to Detail
Attention to detail: try to find the trunk-lid wiring in the Kizashi: I'll bet you can't as it has been so nearly hidden inside the well-finished and carpeted trunk.

How the mighty have fallen: the 2012 Honda Civic...
This is relevant only because the cars are sometimes cross-shopped, but I direct your attention to the latest issue of Consumer Reports, which has reviewed several new compact sedans, including the Ford Focus and the Honda Civic. While they like the Focus well enough, they clearly did NOT like the n...

Re: Kizashi Paint Chip Problem !!!!
Yes, I had a paint-chip problem, and Yes, Suzuki fixed it for me at no cost to me, and also gave me a free rental car. All you really need to do is to ask. The dealership itself us usually a bad place to start, as not all are equally cooperative, however, if you contact Suzuki of America in Californ...

Re: Tires or suspension
You'll find that tire inflation pressures are critical on a Kizashi to how well it rides and handles. Check your door sticker, which usually indicates an inflation pressure of 38PSI on all 4 tires. You'll find that a variation of even a couple of PSI will make a marked difference in the hide and han...

New 4-page insert ad in this month's Car & Driver
I think that many of us have bemoaned Suzuki's lack of marketing acumen when promoting their automotive products. This month, Suzuki put the best ad I have seen them produce in the centerfold of Car & Driver. For the first time, they talk about Suzuki as a company, the breadth of their product l...

Re: floor mat retention clips
Hmmm, while I share your safety concerns, I have noticed that the Kizashi floor mats in my car stick like velcro to the carpeting on the floor, to such an extent that I have to literally peel them off the carpet. I have never had an issue with them slipping on the carpet. However, I did notice that ...

Low-profile tire's and puncture resistance
I have managed to have 2 blow-outs due to tread cuts and punctures in the 13,000 miles that I have owned my SE AWD. My tire dealer tells me that new lower-profile tires may help handling, but they blow out a lot more. Are other Kizashi owners finding this true? The Dunlop Sport SP7000 used on the Ki...
