Rear defroster lag

I don't know if this is unusual or to be expected, but I've always noticed that the rear defroster on my Kizashi performs a bit irregularly... sometimes when I switch it on it will start clearing out my rear window almost immediately, and other times I can drive for miles and miles before I see any ...

Re: Where to get Kizashi parts these days?

It looks like it was just a mix-up on their part, although I did get really worried there for a moment that I wasn't going to be able to get my parts.

Re: Where to get Kizashi parts these days?

So turns out that the parts weren't discontinued after all... I ended up emailing the person who was listed as a contact on the site asking for a refund since the parts were discontinued. Well, shortly thereafter I received a call from someone at the parts department at the dealer who runs the site,...

Where to get Kizashi parts these days?

So where do folks get parts for the Kizashi these days? Are there any reliable internet sites? I know Rock Auto sells some after market parts for the Kizashi (or so it seems), but they don't have everything. I recently tried getting new front swaybar bushings, and I found a site called suzukicarpart...

New rotors? What and where to get them?

So back in July I was able to go on a wonderful trip to Yosemite with my Kizashi, and had the chance to do some really nice mountain driving on beautiful winding roads throughout the park. One thing I noticed however, was that after a good amount of driving, or driving on downhill sections, braking ...

Re: Noisy, thrashing engine is getting old.

I've noticed my engine has become very "clicky" sounding as of late when sitting at idle. Although it still sounds relatively the same as it did before when it comes to acceleration and cruising. I'm now over 42,000 miles.

Re: Steering is driving me nuts!!

The front clunk is quite likely to be the end links on the front sway bar. I've had the same issue long term with the dealer also unable (unwilling?) to reproduce any problem. I recently took the plunge and replaced the end links - the loud clunking noise is now gone. The stock end links are very f...

Re: Steering is driving me nuts!!

You might also see if you can drive another Kizashi so you can re-aquire the feel of one that is handling correctly. Thant way you'll know how far off it really is. I know if it was me and a year had passed by, I'd have forgotten what the handling was really like other than I really liked it. Unfor...

Re: Steering is driving me nuts!!

Sounds hard to determine what the cause is. Some of it makes it sound like you have a defective electric power steering unit. Given your descriptions, I'd first start with getting the front suspension checked. Faulty shocks will cause the wheels to rebound more than they should and it will cause ha...

Steering is driving me nuts!!

Ok, so this is more of a rant than a question I guess...I've posted about this problem before in a couple threads now I think, and I've tried to figure out what's causing my problem...but I can't seem to get any explanations. The problem started over a year ago when I went in for an alignment at my ...
