Re: 114 days; Part II

I do get flickering on my cheapo HID's used on the FOG's. My Low's have the next level up on price (they are designated as digital) and they don't flicker at all. The only thing I notice with both is a warming up phase, about 5 seconds when cold before you see full strength. I don't see dimming or ...

Re: 114 days; Part II

FYI, you won't see that with LED's or HID as they are not run on direct 12VDC from the car, so even if the input power fluctuates a bit, the output to the LED or the HID Bulb stays constant. Re: 114 days; Part II

Additional thoughts: First, about light or lighter wheels; take a look at the recent Car & Driver magazine. There's a superb short article on what difference in performance lightweight wheels provide. Take-away: Significant reductions in wheel weights improves acceleration significantly. Cool. ...

Re: MotorWeek Review of the First Suzuki Car in the US.

Do any of you feel. that in the future Suzuki could come back to the USA. or is it over forever. I mean why couldn't they try again.. obviously they make good cars!.. it just seems like such a waste. Nothing is static in business. It's not a question of if, it is when. It all revolves around money....

[quote="bootymac"]Nice. What kind of maintenence have you done?[/quote

Just stuck to the normal maintainance schedule. Beyond that I've used mobile 1 synthetics. Maybe a bit of OCD keeping her clean lol.

What a great car. I'm 1 month shy of 5 year purchase date. Not one flat, or mechanical issue. Never seen a check engine light (knock on wood). And she still looks new.

Let's see if she goes another 100K

Snow tires are the way to go

I decided to splurge on snow tires this year. Ironically little snow in the PA poconos this year so far. But the little that has fallen has been almost unnoticeable to the Kizzy on snow tires with AWD. TheY aren't even high end. Actually low end when it comes to snow tires about $100 each. What a di...
