I know if i have my iPhone 4 plugged in and turn the car off then come back and turn it on with the iPhone still plugged in i get an error 2 also. I usually unplug and plug it back in. I've never had it happen while during use though.

I've caught myself a couple times I'll hop in the car after my wife(short) and press my number but then put it in reverse before the seat fully moves causing it to stop partial way.

Mine did this too. It's just ice. At least it was for me. Usually a good amount of moisture builds up on the window and would prolly cause it to freeze.
