Re: How to change manual transmission fluid

Manual transmissions don't have a filter.

Re: Allstate Drivewise and other ODBII port insurance device

I think everyone would have to agree its safer to drive 80 MPH in a Kizashi than, say 55 in a '73, well, anything, in terms of handling, braking, acceleration - accident avoidance, not just safety if the accident happens.

Re: Allstate Drivewise and other ODBII port insurance device

No, speed by itself is not the cause. Look at the safety record for the unrestricted areas of the Autobahn - very low. Much lower than the restricted US interstates. Inappropriate speed for the conditions or driver skill MAY be the cause. Speed differential (fast traffic and slow traffic on here sam...

Re: Pcv valve location

Because the evap canister requires frequent replacement?

I don't have a problem with "lifetime" items being hard to service ... Toyotas penchant for making frequently changed items like belts difficult really pisses me off though.

Re: Kizashi v Mazda 6

If you work a mile up the road, buy a petrtol. If you live a mile from work, but a bike ... A good pair of shoes ... A bus/subway pass. NO car, gas or petrol, is going to do well with only those short trips. My mom just got rid of her '96 Volvo, it only had like 30k miles on it... But 4 sets of bra...

FWD Snow wheels and tires

Would be great for drifting.

(And I much prefer oversteer to understeer, all joking aside)

Re: Kizashi gaz Mileage(only AWD please) with a Full gaz tan

Just did a cross country drive. My car usually gets less than 300 miles per tank and less than 20 MPG possibly due to the heavy stop and go drive. The last few tanks which were mainly highway driving yielded 30+ MPG These are stats for my last 30 tanks with their calculated MPG, average mph (reset ...

Re: Allstate Drivewise and other ODBII port insurance device

A+ for Speed: Honestly, what causes more accidents and kills more drivers than speeding compared to the other parameters? Other than distracted driving, speed is what causes accidents. I even scored an epic A+. No score can be higher. Not only do I watch my speed, anyone familiar with the DC area k...

Re: Kizashi v Mazda 6

As far as cars go, the States is like a different planet to the UK. Diesel cars outsell petrol here, and 9 out of 10 cars are manual. Without wanting to appear rude, American cars are considered quite primitive, and a program called Top Gear (very funny) often laugh at them. It's quite strange that...
