I bought mine brand new, top model loaded with every option for $30k (zing!) and mine didn't come with them either. I don't know if anyone got them.

Anyone know where I can get a spare alternator reasonably priced? It doesn't even have to work, I'm going to have it rebuilt anyway. I just don't want to take mine out and have an unusable car while the work is done.

Just a note you may be interested in. The factory RF speakers, at least the door mids, are only 2 ohm speakers. Mine has an option to turn the amp (high level output) on/off. I think it defaulted to off. You'll want that on for your setup.

Mine is under Options > Device > Sound > AMP ON/OFF

Look for a similar setting and verify.

Maybe it's not supposed to interface with another device, just storage? I'm thinking the deck and phone are "arguing" over who gets it and the phone wins.

Try putting the music on a standalone USB stick and see if you have the same problem.
