Re: Strut Bars and Rear Sway Bars

I don't see anything in that thread about Progress Technology. I would find it very hard to believe that they would require any special tooling to make the bar for the Kizashi. My guess is they have a minimum batch size and that RRM provided the specs and a sufficiently large order to have them mad...

Re: Vintage/JDM Suzuki Vehicles at the Toyota Automobile Mus

They are in Indiana at least. I've seen them in downtown Indianapolis before and they were tagged. I want to say it was either an InDot vehicle, or an InDot contracted company, as they were working on something with the road. I haven't seen any out on the highway tho. Like I said, 60 is the TOP spee...

Re: Strut Bars and Rear Sway Bars

There was mention not long ago, that Progress and RRM both sold or did away with all their tooling and molds for their Suzuki division. There is a thread on the SX4 forums about it http://clubsx4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5768 I'm not sure if it was ever purchased, but there was an SX4 club member ...

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

The only thing I'm really worried about with this film is streaking from the wipers, and chipping or cracking from scraping frost. Besides that, if I can find someone to cut it to size (or if the manufacturer would) then be looking for a thread on it when the weather breaks. With my wife being a dis...

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

That's the point! LOL I was extremely impressed with the sample. It resembled something along the lines of plastic laminate sheet like you would see at an office supply store except it was thinner and crystal clear. She is supposed to find out if they are developing it for automotive applications, o...

Re: Vintage/JDM Suzuki Vehicles at the Toyota Automobile Mus

That is a Suzuki Carry. Believe it or not, they are actually street legal. I've even seen them in a 4X4 configuration before. They have a top speed of about 60mph (TOP speed, not SAFE speed). They are actually very sought after, mostly in the south where ranches and farms are much larger and spead o...

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

OK, ragarding the polorized sunglasses, I'd get a pair even if they don't help with the glare. They work wonders on eyes as old as mine. It reduces a lot of the strain associated with UV light and such. I HIGHLY recommend them. I think I MAAAAAAY have a solution worth looking into. My wife recently ...
