Re: 114 days
It may help to reset the mpg next time you are heading on a trip where you will be highway cruising 55-75 mph for at least half an hour. You just hold down the button when you cick to mpg and it will reset, same for " avg. speed" , which I also reset when I do the mpg.

Re: Heated Mirror (Defrost)
I wish two lights I didn't have were the clunky orange lights on the sides of our front bumpers here in the US. but I'm living with it.
You guys don't have those if I'm not mistaken.

Re: Heated Mirror (Defrost)
Hello Australia. There is an indicator light on the switch itself , is that what you mean? It is a little rectangular light in the switch itself. If you are talking about the symbols on the actual outside mirrors, they do not light up. It would be cool but distracting. (Mine works and the symbol doe...

Re: new tires
Sorry to hear about the Yokohama Avid Envigor noise issue. I've been a fan of the relatively inexpensive Yokohama Avid line since I put four on an Accord many years ago and found that set to be unbelievably quiet. They had a solid straight ungrooved strip down the middle of the tire which seemed to...

Re: new tires
I'm just about ready for my third set at almost 70,000 miles . OEM's were replaced at 32,000. Then I got Yokahama Avid Envigor and they got LOUD!!!!!! after about 20,000 and then LOUDER each day-bugs the crap out of me. Now thinking of getting Continental Pure Contact with "ECO" technology...

Re: Fog lights and traction control out?
Couple (simple things.)-Not trying to insult your intelligence. I've brain farted on these things before I realized this. On the fog lights, if your car has the auto light feature , AND your switch is on "auto" AND it is during the day. the fog lights will not come on. Put the switch on ma...

Re: Keyless Ignition key fob
I would make sure the replacement battery is in correctly, and that it is OK. Maybe test it with a multimeter or have Radio Shack test it or an auto supply store possibly. Also try holding the silver end of the fob directly above the pushbutton and starting it that way. It is supposed to work like t...

Re: auto to manual shift
You can flick it over to manual at any speed. The transmission will not let you downshift if the speed is too great. I don't necessarily recommend pushing it during break in. You may be surprised (and uncomfortable) when downshifting at how high the engine will rev but it will only let you downshift...

Re: Kizashi dyno'ed
If this was mentioned, I missed it.
Did you run up your RPM in auto mode?
If so I wonder if it would have been different if it were done in manual mode with you bumping it through the gears, or possibly getting into a fixed gear in manual mode.
