It is a good idea to change oil more often on a new engine, as there are bound to be wear products getting into the oil, ‘shavings’; it feels good to get them out. Suzuki doesn’t require you to do that. For example, on mine I changed the oil at 600 miles, 3900 miles, 8338 miles, and 15458 miles. The...

$23.86 plus $9.32 shipping form an Internet retailer (drop shipped from the WIX). I haven't seen these local yet.

If you can get Suzuki filters below $40, definitely go with Suzuki filters.

I put the WIX filter in my Kizashi. The filter fits all right. Replacing it is very easy, the air box is on top, and there are just two clamps.
