Re: Brake Pads
Akebono ACT815 is listed as compatible with 2010 Suzuki SX4. Is this the same brake pad for Kizashi (front)? Retailer databases list that Akebono ACT815 does not fit 2010 Suzuki Kizashi. What's the dealeo? Some manufacturers are starting to list compatible parts in their catalogs, though. EBC: DP219...

On Stealing Valve Steam Caps
My Kizashi came with silver-colored plastic valve stem caps. One day one of the caps disappeared. I guess somebody really needed one, and didn’t have time to go to a store to buy four for a dollar. No big deal, I put a black valve stem cap on that wheel. So I had one black and three silver ones. Thi...

Re: kizashi vs nissan altima 2.5 cvt
There is a recall on mine, but I haven’t been to the dealer to do it. Other folks who’ve done the recall reported no noticeable differences.~tc~ wrote: Have any of you called the dealer to see if a TSB has been issued to reflash the CVT?

Re: Driving up hills
Driving up-hills, in my opinion, is the largest benefit of a CVT over a traditional automatic transmission with fixed gear ratios. I love how smooth mine is. One day, with the car loaded with passengers and luggage, it went up the Cajon Pass as if it was not even there. I also routinely accelerate o...

Heads up, AMAZON has Silblade BOGO (buy one get one free) in their goldbox today. I bought a WB124S and a WB120S to give them a try.

Re: recommended engine oil manufacturer and viscosity?
No official information, but mine came with a Quaker State sticker in the engine compartment, and the manual recommends SAE 5W-30 weight. In mine I am using Quaker State 5W-30 Ultimate Durability Full Synthetic motor oil. Works fine. I also like Mobil 1 and Red Line brands, but I haven't used them i...

Re: waxing
Alex, thanks for the reply. Yes, black. It actually looked more like something came off the elastofoam block and stuck to the paint. It took a lot of polishing to remove those smudges. The Sönus dus wunder towels are ok, no problem whatsoever. It is other towels that came with the product, the ultim...

Re: Windshield Wiper Blades
After two weeks of use unfortunately I can not recommend Bosch ICON wiper blades for our vehicles. In addition to the far end of the passenger side wiper lifting off the windshield, a much more troubling problem developed – the middle of the driver side wiper collapses onto windshield on the down st...
