Re: Mileage distance indicator after filling tank
mine always shows 360-365 miles on the indicator after fill up, i've never been able to put over 14 gallons in even after the indicator goes to --- , I typically can only squeeze out 360 at most, combination of manual and CVT modes, AWD off for the time being, AC intermittently on.

Re: splash guards and nose bra
it sits up on the hood itself on two little cone shaped 3M clear rubber parts, but the the front of it where it's above the grill, actually wraps over the hood and installs underneath the protective covering under the hood. Its done a great job for my hood, 1-2 chips (midway high on the hood) after ...

Re: splash guards and nose bra
i have the hood protector part # 990B0-33026 and i love it. You could install it yourself in less than 30 minutes and it's maintenance free for all seasons. http://suzukiauto.com/_m/accessories/views/1277154948.jpg had the dealer install the mud guards for $70. Agreed on buying them off ebay.

i did forget to change the rear diff oil at 7500mi, maybe that's why the car has a lag

Re: kizashi vs nissan altima 2.5 cvt
i do agree with the lag overall...it's been a problem for Kizashi since the start. I mainly notice it in the 'auto' mode and in the first 20mph. I've driven the car a lot more in manual mode recently and have averaged better mpg, not to mention it's a lot more fun. '10 Kizashi SLS AWD (Oct 2009 prod...

Re: kizashi vs nissan altima 2.5 cvt
according to http://www.jatco.co.jp/ENGLISH/PRODUCTS/index.html, Altima does not use Jatco's CVT. Nissan Rouge (Dualis as it is called in Japan) does use the exact one that Kizashi has and if you've ever driven a Rouge, you'll know that it doesn't have a lag whatsoever.

Re: what's wrong with this picture?
no, this is totally reversible. Today in 29F temp, the LCD is normal. I've also had the problems that you guys mentioned. I had never seen a blank screen though. Highly doubt Suzuki will do anything about it. It's just interesting because they claim they tested the car so much in cold environment......

Re: What are you paying for your Kizashi?
2010 SLS AWD (no gps) bought it in March for $27k out the door which included license/plates as well. I think the actual price came out closer to 25,300. The car did have 400 miles on it.
