On a 2010 Suzuki kizashi what is the part on the car that the shock attached to ? I've heard it called an upper mount on other vehicles. My eyeballs are falling out trying to locate the name or picture in parts diagram what is is! I just need to bolt that in. I have a new shock my boot . Thanks!
Upper support or shock mount?
I'm guessing you're talking about #5 or #9 in this diagram.

Have no. 5. Is no. 9 in the wheel well attached to the car? The picture does look like the part...
Yes #9 is attached to the car with the shock. It is how the upper shock is attached to the body of the car and will remain attached to the shock when you remove the entire assembly. The #9 part will need to be taken off the old shock and attached to the new one before re-installation.
