Kizashi gear-switch delay

Does anyone experience a seemingly longer than normal pause when switching into reverse or drive from park?

Nope unless you put in reverse while your car is still rolling

Yep, and i have asked Suzuki about that. They claim it is normal. Both the transmissions I have had did it.

Mine does it too. I assume it has something to do with the CVT? I dont even notice it anymore though

Ok. Thanks guys! I'm just glad it's not only me. Not sure what causes it exactly, but CVT is definitely something to get used to. Especially because this is my first automatic tranny after driving standard for 7 years.

same here ... I notice it in reverse.
