Do you mean engine fan? Or AC fan?

Be fans meaning cooling inside cabin. Whether ac is on or off

I had to replace my climate control fan because my AC felt weak and the fan was making a whining noise.

I'd start by checking the cabin air filter and replacing it. These get very dirty in a short amount of time and can reduce airflow with the debris embedded in the pleats of the filter. I actually just ordered a new filter last night and find myself having to replace it at least every 1.5 years.

I replaced both the control 'thyristor' and the blower fan; the fans can go bad.....

Behind the glovebox. There's a service manual somewhere I this forum. This thread helped me.

cabin filter is brand new...in fact I bought the fram one people on amazon said it fit their kizashi just need to cut the tab off...thought that was the issue so i ordered an OEM one off amazon (surprised they got it now) and it looks exactly like the same OEM that came out of the glove box...maybe i'll clean the old one off and put it back in to see if power comes back then go from there

is this the same part that triggerhappy was referring to behind the glovebox? I'm guessing it's the part that is sort of connected to where the cabin air filter goes?
