I install a set of KYB on my son's 2010 SE AWD and notice the damping is garbage. The Oem is shot front and rear at 94K miles. They do improve a lot from tired OEM but the rebound and compression valving are definitely more geared for comfort than performance.
Too bad the KW coil over cannot be set the same height as OEM or taller. The underlie of this car scrapped a lot indicating poor approach angle at stock height already.
This is my observations but my car and my wife's minivan both have KONI shocks. Most people would be fine with this KYB. I paid $160 for a set of 4 last may when they have huge rebate offer so I could not complain.

Generic mileage hovers in the low 27 MPG range.
The BrakePerformance.com set continues to overwhelm the available traction, and fade has not intruded.
I pumped the tires up to 50 PSI front, 47 PSI rear, and then went cornering......it went well.
One further thought: To any interested in better acceleration, most highly recommend first adding a set of way-light(er than stock) wheels, and lighter tires.
You'll notice the difference.

50psi...that's max rating for most higher end (extra load) tires for the car. What rubber are you currently running?

How do you like them so far?
I have a set of Kumho Solus TA71s (50psi max as well) sitting in the garage waiting to go on after an alignment tomorrow. Inside edges, again, of the Generals I have on now are shot.
You burn through tires like I breath air, so....how do they wear on your car? I can't get the damn thing aligned well enough to not eat the inside tread. My rotation interval is around 5k, and it doesn't matter. The last 'custom' alignment I had done has been the best so far and the same frame & alignment guy is going to have another go at it. I showed him the two different sets of specs from Suzuki last time and his motto is 'yeah, factory specs are a good starting point'. He wanted to see the old rubber on there when he goes to do this year's alignment.

They have been excellent, with great wet grip.
The noise they make when over-pushed is pleasant to my ears.
Rocks have yet to hole any.
And cheap to buy!
Last tank Gulf premium hit the magic 30.0 MPG! (said tank included a 20-mile 100+ MPH run)

...but I work at a dealership, and one of the techs came rolling by yesterday with a handcart full of decent take-offs that just happened to be 225/50 R17 W size.....so this morning I went and took the best two for them to mount on the rear of my Kizashi. Right now (47PSI).
Once again I destroy tires

Alignment was gone over again last evening. Not too far off at all from the way it was setup up last time. Same shop, same rack, same guy. Technically, it wasn't 'out of spec' at all this go-round (first time in 4 alignments) and 'technically' required no adjustment...per specs. He went over the entire suspension system thoroughly and found nothing even slightly wrong with any of the components that would affect alignment and tire wear. After looking at the overall condition of the worn Generals, he tweaked things a bit to try and help minimize that inside edge wear situation. Appears to be the nature of the beast and he claims it's not at all unusual for cars w/ this caliber of suspension. He even said that the wear/mileage ratio wasn't bad at all. Now we'll see how things go as far a wear on the new set of Kumhos I'm getting mounted on Monday. Clean slate again.
