What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

Anything related to the Kizashi can go here, but please look at the other headings first. Your topic may fit better under something else.

Let us know if you find OE HID headlights for the Kizashi. I personally think it will be ridiculously expensive and not fully compatible because you'll be missing the wiring and switches for the headlight leveler and the headlight washers.

I wonder if Energy's graphite bushings would fit on the Kizashi's RRM bars. Regardless, I'm treating the RRM sway bar bushings as a maintenance part that needs to be regreased periodically.
That does make sense. I think we only got flashed maybe 5 times the entire time we were running on high beams only.

I definitely will if I ever have time to do the oe hid swap. I'll be getting all the switches too so the swap should be complete and work perfectly--if everything will bolt up that way. If not, there are already h7 led bulbs hitting the market.

I would definitely check what other application the RRM rear bar bushings cross to. That's how I found the Altima ones as a Maxima bushing was a factory supercede part and Energy made one for the Maxima application.

The only thing I don't really like is how the red housing from the high beams looks in the reflectors.

Wait! You're in Wisconsin?!? Where? We have a 2011 Black SLS AWD too! You're our twin, except yours definitely looks sweeter--ours is bone stock.

What did I do today? Caught up on this thread for one, got 2 sets of PIAA h7s and Ion Crystal h11s for the fogs. Will only get the high beams installed tonight, but now I have the parts for the rest of the swaps.

Made my mental list for the Kizashi before winter fully gets here:
- swap to winter tires after waxing winter set
- oil change with high-performance full synthetic
- oil filter change
- examine all underside rust spots and coat with protectants
- put away summer set after waxing and cleaning
- spray down the car at the self-wash place I found a while back
- completely clean and protect all interior leather surface
- order factory spark plugs
- change factory spark plugs
- order factory coolant
- add any missing factory coolant--there's a small drip from nipple on the underside of the reservoir where the rubber hose connects

I'm in Green Bay.

Funny, your to do list looks eerily similar to mine.

Sweet! If you're ever in the Milwaukee area, definitely give me a shout. There's only 3 Kizashis that I've seen around here. I can also show you how to do your tpms relearn for free. 8-)

Thanks. I think I've read through your entire thread twice by now, so hopefully I'll be able to figure it out when the time comes in spring, but if not, I'll definitely take you up on that. I have yet to see another Kizashi in this area.

I got my summer wheels today. If they look familiar, they're the same wheels that RRM used on their Kizashi Platinum.

I have decided to sell my GTS wheels so I can buy a dedicated winter tire package.

I did my safety inspection yesterday... had to change one wiper.

I put my winter tires and wheels 2 days ago.. I painted the wheels myself with Rustoleum (Silver Metallic Stop Rust/there are so many kinds)

http://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalo ... t/metallic

I wanted a color similar to the OEM wheels...I do not like the way they turned out, but I do not hate them either... they look better than steel rims anyway! They are just too ''grey'' for me.

I also celebrated Kaiju's 3rd birthday on October 22nd. I remember that day like it was yesterday...saw it, test drove it, negociated, bought it the same day! It was love at first ride...

PS Should I paint the caps grey as well?? What do you think?
