What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

I think they look fine as is. The wheels look like something from the late 90's/early 2000's but as winter wheels, they should be fine.

Took care of the annual oil and filter change this weekend, washed the cat prints from the paint (stupid wandering cat), organized my maintenance records. That's all.

I did my safety inspection yesterday... had to change one wiper.

I put my winter tires and wheels 2 days ago.. I painted the wheels myself with Rustoleum (Silver Metallic Stop Rust/there are so many kinds)

I wanted a color similar to the OEM wheels...I do not like the way they turned out, but I do not hate them either... they look better than steel rims anyway! They are just too ''grey'' for me.

I also celebrated Kaiju's 3rd birthday on October 22nd. I remember that day like it was yesterday...saw it, test drove it, negociated, bought it the same day! It was love at first ride...

PS Should I paint the caps grey as well?? What do you think?

I agree a bit too grey.

Your car would look twice as nice with those front windows tinted. I realize you probably don't because of laws. We can tint ours to 35% legally but I always do 20% around. If I get pulled over for whatever reason I roll down both front windows to avoid drawing attention to them and act like a gentleman to the cop (like I do to pretty much everyone I don't know really). I've never once been pulled over in my Kiz though and I'm also running without the front license plate because it detracts from the beautiful front grille

I took off the S too, keeps people guessing but admittedly it looks a little bare with just Kizashi AWD on the right

Got the Kizzy ready for winter:

Wash, Waxed, Detailed
New Snow Tires
New Wiper Blades
Put on the roof racks and new wind fairing
Replaced OEM floor mats with Weather Tech mats.

She's good to go!

So here I was enjoying the Kizzy after the above mentioned chores and yes I'll say it, admiring the Kizzy photos, when I noticed this:

The V shape tread pattern is going in the wrong direction!

After closer inspection the tire shop had mounted 2 of the new snow tires backwards. In actuality they just mounted them in the opposite places, but still rotating in the wrong direction.

I just have no luck when it comes to a place I can fully trust with my car.

Ironically the tech stopped to pay compliments on the car, so maybe they were in such aww of the Kizzy they just got confused LOL.

Even the sidewall of a uni-directional tire states the rotation direction. Hopefully they fixed their mistake quickly.
