If it wasn't for your post with pictures and instructions i wouldn't even attempt taking off the front bar or headlights. So thankyou for taking the time to help out the rest of us.
Im hoping the weather is good this Saturday and i'll give it a go
MODS: catback exhaust, RRM SRI, 6000k HID, white led's all round, 22% tint, Rear swaybar, LED drl's, chrome stealth turn signal, scanguage II.

So to take the front bar off you only need to remove 1 screw on each side near wheel and the 3 you pictured on top?
Because i done all that and managed to get the bar off a little but nowhere near enough like in your pic.
There's definately no screws underneath to be taken off?
I probably didn't pull hard enough. I lifted if up and over the hood latch thing but couldn't get it much past that

Once the side wheelwell screws are out you need to pull the bumper away from the fender.
There are screws on the bottom and I may have removed too many , but the key to releasing the front bumper is the connection to the fenders on the sides.
Re-read my "how-to" carefully, especially the directions between photos and you should be all set.
The sides came out fine it's just when i lifted the top up and over the hood latch i probably didnt pull hard enough
I probably need to pull the whole bar harder in order to get it far enough away from the body so i can access the headlight assembly. It seems like it was stuck somewhere and i couldnt pull it out enough.
I read the service manual for removing the front bumper and it's confusing, i like your pics a lot better.
I'll give it another go tomorrow i think. I really want to get it done but at the same time i've got my dad annoying me telling me i should pay someone and i'll ruin the car since i havn't taken a bumper off before.

will2k, I just did my HID conversion today. I couldn't get the bumper off without removing 4 screws from the bottom of the bumber (2 on each side - there are a few screws on the bottom and I only removed the the screws with washers). Yes, you also need to give it a hard but careful pull from the top. The back of the chrome grill has to go over the beam behind it, just needs a little bending and flexing of the bumper.
Oh, BTW I made a stupid mistake of not changing the original parking lights with bright white ones. The original ones are too yellowish, I don't like them at all. I didn't know these 2 stupid bulbs were used till today... So you might as well replace them while your at it.
The ballasts I got were not small at all and was a pain to get in the headlight housing. I really had to force it in.
