I wanted to change out all my interior and license plate lights with LEDs. Does anyone have a list of bulb part #'s?
Thanks

I changed all my bulbs inside and out (~$140, including a 15" strip for the trunk).
Bought them from Dr. LEDs, a dealer here in Puerto Rico specialized in any kind of LED lighting. They have an application in which they search for any specific car and can ship anywhere.
Look for them as Dr. LEDs Puerto Rico (Carolina) in Facebook.
Hope this helps, good luck!

Most of the interior ones are T10 types - try Ebay, there's plenty to choose from. The rear licence plate lights are very hard to access so I haven't bothered with them.
Has anyone found LED's to replace the vanity mirror lights on the windscreen visors? The bulbs look almost like the old style 3AG glass fuses? I've never seen anything like them in a car before.

how do you change the license plate bulbs??
Try Jaycar or RadioShack. They have a few types here in Australia.murcod wrote:Has anyone found LED's to replace the vanity mirror lights on the windscreen visors? The bulbs look almost like the old style 3AG glass fuses? I've never seen anything like them in a car before.

Thanks, but they're not Festoon bulbs. They're more like this (but this is a fuse) http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=SF2189 with the end caps being smaller in diameter than the Festoon bulbs

So, I just did mine ... I ordered from superbrightleds and they have everything you need, but both their bulb finder and Sylvania's (and the owner manual for that matter) are wrong.:

(That will do both door courtesy lights, the front dome, the two map lights, and the trunk)

(That will do the rear dome and the license plate - note: I actually used http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo ... stoon/233/ but I'm sure the others will fit, and will work a lot better - the ones I used don't really light up the middle of the plate)

(For the vanity mirrors)
The bulbs in the front dome and map lights were impossible for me to get out "the easy way". I ended up pulling down the overhead, and extracting them from the back, and then pulling the bulbs out of the holder (using pliers and vice grips). To remove the overhead, there is one screw in the glasses holder, and then some VERY strong clips right above. Pull down on the end near the windshield - you will have to pull hard, and it is going to pop very loudly when the clips release. Then, swing it down from the back to clear the hooks in the front (away from the windshield)
For the license plate lights, you have to remove the trunk lid trim. The handle has a cover that pops up, and then there is one trim pin underneath. You will see the housings, remove the wires. There are covers over the light assembly that you remove by pushing towards the center of the car, and then up. After that, you can remove the bulbs and put in the new ones.

I'm looking at LEDs for my Kizashi too now. I've always purchased LEDs from DX.com (cheap prices but long shipping) and they've lasted for years on my other vehicles.
So far I've only considered changing the courtesy lights and trunk light with these:
- Trunk: comes with an adapter to plug into the W5W socket. LED board has double sided tape to mount to the rear deck.
- Courtesy lights: Used similar ones on my other cars. Single sided application works great for courtesy lights. I think these might work in the glove box too?

The trunk is a wedge type, not a festoon type. Those would work really well in the door as there are no reflectors. They will not work in the dome or map lights as they are aimed straight down.
Something like this would be fantastic, but I think they're too long
