On this list some people were claiming their dealers were charging $150+ or more dollars for an air filter and change. Here's a quick guide to show you how you can DIY and save those hundreds of dollars.

Open the hood of your Kizashi. The Air Filter Box is located in front of the driver by the clip that holds the hood mounting rod.

On the Air Filter Box are two tabs. Push them off with your hands and lift the box up. You'll see the Air Filter.

Lift the air filter out. Then clean any debris from the Air Filter Box.

(Pic is a dirty box prior to cleaning.)

Compare your new filter to the old filter prior to install. You want to make sure you purchased the correct part. The new filter (Wix 49008) is on the right. It's orangish-pinkish in the photos. The old filter is on the left. The bottom of the old filter in these pics are white and has debris in it.

Place the new filter in the box. Then follow this backwards to reassemble the Air Filter Box.

Happy Motoring!
