Sorry, nothing to do with Kizashi, but didn't know where else to ask the question. Once answered, mods can just remove the thread.

In the UK if you pass your test in a manual car, this means you can also drive an auto. However, if you pass your test in an auto, you can NOT drive a manual car.

What is the rule elsewhere ?

I must be losing my marbles. Your right, I had brought it up before, sorry.

I couldn't download the pictures because of the size. It is a Peugeot 207 cc. She has always wanted a convertible, and I got it at a knock down price. £12400, with a book price of £17400

Sweet. Looks totally like a woman's car (Googled it). There are no French cars sold in the US so they are fun to learn about. VW offered the Eos in the US market but it's getting discontinued for 2015.
Last time I was in Japan, I saw a Peugeot RCZ. Pretty cool.

Are you kidding, such a big market and no French cars? Even in Aus we've got Renault, Citroen & Peugeot.

I think they're smart not selling in the USA - the top selling vehicles are all "trucks" with huge engines (and gun racks )

It's a totally different market compared to Europe.

For now, but it's coming around as people start to move fuel efficiency up to a higher priority in the car buying decision process.

Thats also my impression from watching news, movies etc from the USA. Maybe light cars such as the Swift aren't that popular yet which might be why Suzuki struggled in the US given that is the type of car they are best at.
