Those are very bright, like too bright. Haha. I wouldn't want folks thinking I was always on my brakes.
I tried out some LED bulbs for the tail lights, but I didn't buy them for the Kizashi so after testing them out, I put them in another car. However, the ones I tested weren't too much brighter than stock bulbs so I thought they were a decent upgrade option.
Here's my post on them:

As far as the powder coating, the cost was $420. This included sandblasting the old finish off, repairs to the wheel due to some minor curb rash, the paint itself and labor. Since it has a clear coat on top of the metallic, it costed a bit more, but I'm very happy with the result. Even to the touch it feels better and more solid than the factory CAR paint. It took a couple weeks to do (the place I got them done at were in the process of moving to a new location. I didn't mind so much as I had wheels to drive on...) Interestingly enough, it also seems to resist brake dust from sticking. Easily wipes away compared to the other finish. It does however seem to accumulate faster though, probably because when you see the finish in direct sunlight it is bright! Or... it might just be time for new rotors/pads. lol

You know that shift knob I was talking about, well here it is. A gift from a friend and you know the show it's from! (DBZ for those that don't lol). I prefered the 6-star as that is the amount of consecutive Pikes Peak Hillclimb wins "Monster" Tajima had before someone interrupted the streak. I have an autographed Suzuki hat from him, so that may have made an influence on my decision. ;)

Zero modifications were needed after removing the old knob (which is excellently weighted btw). It just screwed on, turned it until it was snug and the reverse collar still goes up normally. I did not need to remove the white retainer piece at all. The new knob is lighter than the standard but it feels nice still in the gear changes and is also comfortable to use. Still feels a but strange as it's round and not cylindrical like the old one but I'll run this a while unless I need to be classy again ahaha.

Also, this is the brake dust from 1 week of driving on the rear driver's side (worst case). I don't drive it like I stole it (at least not on the brakes like that) so I'm not sure what's going on. The rear's always produced more dust than the front which I find a bit odd for a FWD. Is it normal for the Akebonos to dust this much? I do not recall the dust being so visible on the old set (factory set). Is this a sign it's time for new pads and rotors?

Good job on the wheels! The stock wheels are actually pretty sweet. Too bad Suzuki did such a crappy job with the paint. I got a quote yesterday to powder coat/paint them $125 per wheel. Not including remounting and re balancing each wheel and tire. Sounds a little too steep.
