Re: Fuel Economy - manual transmission
transmissions often offer better fuel economy compared to automatic counterparts due to their mechanical simplicity and direct driver control over gear selection. By actively engaging gears, drivers can optimize engine performance, enhancing efficiency. This makes manuals a preferred choice for fue...

Re: Any pics with both the hood deflector and the sunroof deflec
The sunroof and hood deflector were made in Australia and I've even seen clear ones sold there as OE accessories. If you are very keen on getting them for the Kizashi, I suggest you search and buy them from Australia.

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?
I've seen the videos too but the technique involved using a rounded brush sideways. Basically, a new toilet brush with a cut handle shoved into a drill. I recently found a 3-pack brush drill set for very cheap. I'm going to use some of the brush heads to clean tile grout and one of them to clean the...

Re: Kizashi information
Hi Kuro, I hope the stuff has come in handy :drive:. For what it’s worth, the Kizashi isn’t alone in oil grades differing by region. My Mazda’s engine calls for 0W-20 here in the US, but 5W-30 in Europe, I believe. American owners put either of those in their Skyactiv engines, or occasionally 5W-20...

Re: Kizashi information
This is my italian manual where recommended 0w20, but there is temperature diagram on the region. What is interesting is that about two weeks ago, I was looking for this very oil chart in the US owner's manual and could not find it anywhere. I looked in the same section as your book but it only men...

Re: Rusted out Kizashi
Wow, that's pretty bad. Sadly, many cars don't seem to last as long in the regions with a lot of snow in the winter due to rust. In the Southwest, cars aren't really subject to much rust so you see older ones running that would have otherwise rusted out a long time ago elsewhere.

Re: Kizashi information
My Kizashi is European from Italy, but the Suzuki manual recommends 0w20 for the same engine, and in the US 5w30. It is most likely due to different standard. 0w20 cites it as the greatest fuel economy. According to the country and climate where I am, I pour on my Kizashi Ravenol 5w30. I will try P...

Re: inexpensive tire pressure monitors that will work
For me, I just don't understand why the Kizashi has such an aggressive TPMS warning. It basically takes over the dash while most other cars have a simple orange light on the dash. Suzuki went far too excessive with the warning.

Re: Kizashi information
Welcome. Different models of the Kizashi have slightly different fuel economy averages but mine: (FWD manual transmission) gets about 20 city and 27 highway miles per gallon on average. For liter/100km it is: 11.7 city and 8.7 highway. As for motor oil, Suzuki specifies 5W-30. I use synthetic motor ...

Re: Advice for My First Car
Unfortunately, it's risky at this point for the reasons Old Tech mentioned. If it's an automatic, it has a transmission called a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) that is prone to issues at high mileage due to a design flaw and ill-advised service intervals. While pros like Old Tech can fix t...
