Re: Towbar
As I explained, my routine is to unbolt the "tongue/gooseneck" also ,and leave the rest permanently attached also. The weight of the above is more than enough to provide problems attaching, if a ramp is not available. My driveway is not the problem but various crossings over gutters I ente...

Re: Towbar
Just wondering if anyone has the genuine Aussie Suzuki towbar fitted? http://www.suzuki.com.au/vehicles/models/kizashi/accessories/tow-bar-kit-1 http://cdn.suzuki.com.au/sites/default/files/imagecache/png-to-jpg/vehicles/model/accessories/main-image/TOW%20BAR%20990AA-01720-K01.jpg Is that an actual...

Re: Actual Servicing Costs (Australia)
Hi David. How the hell do you get this valuable info? Certainly not by a general notification to kizashi owners from Suzuki. I`m due for a 22000k around now. Forarmed is forwarned, or something like that. How obvious can these dealers/makers become. The initial boasts of 12mth/15000k service seem ge...

Re: Map update for nav unit?
Has anyone updated the maps? How difficult is it? Where did you get the card/maps from? Hi. I have 2011 AWD CVT Sports with Alpine Sat Nav aftermarket which comes complete with SD card installed and update details included for 3 year quarterly web page instructions issued free . I presume all makes...

Re: Krunched Kizashi
It was quite an impact, she claimed that her foot slipped off the brake onto the accelerator. Could be that my silver paintwork made the car blend into the road and she didn't see it :P who knows. Her car sustained some serious frontal damage and it wouldn't even start up afterwards. Just wondering...

Re: Reversing sensors and Hearing deficiencies
I guess it sounds like you got out of it "okay" - so the airbags weren't really needed? (Airbags sound like nice soft cushy things, but your head hitting a fully inflated airbag might not have been too pretty either.... at least from what I've heard.) Hi David. I can only summize that a c...

Re: Reversing sensors and Hearing deficiencies
Glad to hear you're okay. Sounds like a decent hit, did any airbags deploy? Hi all. No interest in impact shown by airbags, much to my surprise. Mentioned this fact to repair man, who suggested that he has seen greater impact damage and no response by airbags. My view is that impact was perhaps too...

Re: Reversing sensors and Hearing deficiencies
A mere $9400 , hardly worth a worry.? I was not greatly damaged, just bleed a lot. Car is repairable and unfortuneatly not a write off. [no new car, fitted maybe with sat/nav?] . Appreciate your concerns. Ron Hmurcod wrote:Not good. How bad is the damage?

Re: Reversing sensors and Hearing deficiencies
;-) Anyone who has shown interest in my problems with not hearing reverse parking sensors may be interested to know that my Alpine unit was to be fitted on 4 Mar. On 27Feb, one of those previously mentioned "blind lady " type drivers drove thru a "Give Way" sign and hit me amids...
