Re: Torque converter - CVT lag issue solution?
oh boy i happen to disagree with the notion of the kizzy being unsafe to move out of the way of ongoing traffic or in a traffic jam i get out out of the way just fine, i think this is an exaggeration i for one dont have any issues with the so called lag but i aint the one to be peeling off anyway.....

Re: Gas and Ethanol Content
Does anyone know how well the Kizashi is suited for ethanol fuels? Also is there a preference in your brand of gas. I typically use Shell gas, but used Chevron the other day and it seemed as if my car started driving more sluggish. Any thoughts? Check owners manual. Most (possible) all new cars can...

Re: Torque converter - CVT lag issue solution?
Unfortunately we seem to be stuck on square one. In the performance forum, RRM raised their head on the Piggyback and dyno issue (but have gotten silent again - nothing new there). They did not even mention the lag issues. If it is possible to fix this with an ECU tweak - I would like to see them go...

Re: Short ram intake worth it?
The manufacture of the CVT has one with a supplemental low gear. Too bad Suzuki chose to save a few bucks and not use that one. After all the reviews came on on the 2010's - surprised they did not go that direction in the 2011. This change might have made them first in class in some reviews - with ...

Re: Is it the CVT or a regulator setting that causes the lag
Well, I have a 2011 manual, and there is no lag when I punch it. It seems 'adequate' to me. Didn't I read that when they first came out the car magazines rated the 0-60 times for the manual in the low to mid 7's? Do you feel that is inadequate for a 185 horse car weighing around 3400 lbs.? You are ...

Was not shooting at the poster - was advising potential buyers to be careful. he chose to take it personally.
The following is a yes or no answer - have YOU found the Piggyback has any significant improvement of the well documented CVT lag from start?

Re: ECU Question: Why Piggy-back, Not Re-flash?
Since you never are wrong, you will never learn form your mistakes - so will repeat them. I also recommend you purchase a set of the Conti tires I panned - since I do not know what I am talking about. What better choice could you possibly make on this one? MODERATOR - do your job - go back to the fi...

Re: ECU Question: Why Piggy-back, Not Re-flash?
You are the chump that made it personal - so don't talk about class. I learn from my mistakes, and I learn from others when they are shared. I made a mistake with the tires (more expensive than your mistake), and I shared it. Since you apparently were not around here when all this started, you may n...

Re: ECU Question: Why Piggy-back, Not Re-flash?
I have maybe gotten a bit frustrated with total silence on "where-is-the beef" on thes supposed upgrades (except the turbo - obviously that thing screams). This is not directed at whether or not you buy the car, but whether or not you fork out several hundred $ to RRM or anyone else withou...
