They come on as soon as you start the car, also stay on when you turn headlights on at night. They operate just like the day time running lights do. I disabled stick drl by unplugging

Wires are small enough to tuck inside along the light, powered to the defogger relay in engine compartment, very easy.

I'm actually glad I did it like this, I ordered another set that I think I might like better. So easy replace.

They are attached by peeling backing off them, 3m adhesive on back. Just ran them along bottom of headlight. I will post a picture tomorrow in the day light if that helps anyone.
