Re: The Kizashi Spotting Thread!

Given the news of the Honda Accord's faltering sales... How much of the Accord's faltering is due to the fact they wouldn't discount the car, AT all in the first half of the year, and when they did put in a discount, it was still more expensive than comparable Camrys, which I see a lot of around wh...

Re: CVT Fluid Drain and Refill

Just out of curiosity, anyone have any thoughts about how to do a transmission flush instead of wasting 3-6 qts of transmission fluid, and if that's even a good idea? If I was going to change the CVT fluid in Azumi, I'd just follow Ronzuki's procedure. But, I'd like to not waste any transmission oil...

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?

Purchased one today! :D Also hi! Congrats! Welcome to the club! Color? Year? Trim? Miles? Silver/2011/SLS/132k miles (lots of highway) This is my second car, first one being a 2007 SX4 I purchased last year. Planning on keeping both, but considering the Kizashi has leather/power everything, the SX4...

Re: Almost a rough idle?

Great pics and I'm sure you'll feel the improvement right away. The first couple times I did mine I left it on and propped it open with a screw driver. While cleaning, I released the spring tension holding the screw driver and it fell into the intake manifold. Let me tell you it was no fun getting ...

Re: Headlight Cleaning

I polish my headlights at almost every car wash with PlastX or 3M's equivalent. However, an abrasive pad is required for more thorough restoration for better clarity at times. Are you getting noticeable degradation in your headlights between each application? Or are you just applying after every wa...

Re: Headlight Cleaning

Honestly, I spent like 3- 20 min sessions on then driver's side before the pic was taken. First round was just Plast-X, second round was Restoration Kit + Plasti-X, but I didn't seal it. I thought it was still a little fuzzy, so I hit it a 3rd session and then sealed it, then picture. Each session w...

Headlight Cleaning

So Azumi is 7 years old, and her headlights had finally fogged up to the point that it was aggravating me. They weren't completely yellow and fogged over yet, but the tops of the headlights were getting pretty yellow. It took me a few attempts, but I finally found a good combo of cleaners for a reas...

[FIXED] Almost a rough idle?

So I finally got around to "removing" and cleaning the throttle body on Azumi at the beginning of the summer, and what a difference it made! She no longer stutters at idle anymore. :D It took me a little while, but I finally figured out the ECU connector that kept me from doing this the fi...
