Re: few quick questions

Re: Cracked Tank

A copy of the recall notice can be found here: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2018/RCMN-18V769-7947.pdf You can also look up the recall notice and find your nearest Suzuki service center on the suzukiauto site: https://www.suzukiauto.com/ You should contact Suzuki, or your nearest service center a...

Re: Suzuki Kizashi Drive Cycle

I've not seen a specific drive cycle listed for the Kizashi, but it you have an OBDII scan tool it will probably be able to tell what monitors have been completed, which have not, and if the vehicle is ready for an emissions check

Re: Fluid Change - Transmission Trouble

Hey buddy, are you able to resolve the issue? I am also conisdering a transmission oil change soon. Currently at 245k km (bought at 198k km). Any suggestions? My suggestion would be to just start by doing a drain and fill and leave the pan and pan filter/pickup alone. That will take about 3.8L of C...

Re: Fluid Change - Transmission Trouble

I agree, sounds like the P0641 code is the only one that matters. I'd guess a fuse has blown, a connector wasn't plugged back in, or a wire has broken. Codes are: P0842: Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor / Switch “A” Circuit Low Primary pressure sensor signal circuit voltage is lower than specified...

Re: 15mm sway bar bushings

If I needed a replacement for the 15mm stock parts, I would probably try the Prothane 19-1103 (or 19-1151 if you want a set with a grease fitting) universal set. Spec on them is 9/16" (14.3mm), but the Prothane bushings are ribbed on the inside, and should squish down the extra 0.7mm without mu...

Re: Parts

Do you know exactly what part it is that is on back order? My guess would be that it is the rear shock mount, as that is know for breaking. I don't think any aftermarket part or alternate fitment was ever identified. If that is the failed part, my suggestion would be to acquire a used one from a sal...

Re: TPMS 2022

I finally got around to needing to to this myself for my winter wheels. Here is a copy of the official procedure from the service manual. It describes the sequence to trigger the relearn, as well as the blink pattern that indicates sensor registration.

Re: Code 7E8 Avery small evaporative leak

7E8 is not an OBDII code, it is just a CAN message broadcast prefix. What scan tool are you using to retrieve the code?

Re: Front defrost

When I turn on front defrost it turns on ac anyone know why This is how the defrost function behaves in nearly all vehicles with AC, even if it doesn't indicate it. The vehicle is using the AC to remove moisture from the air to prevent condensation or frost from forming on the inside of the windows...
