Re: Kizashi in Singapore

The Swift is pretty perky as it is extremely light. About 940kg I think. The 1L turbo 3 cylinder has enough torque to cause some torque steer if I am a bit too enthusiastic on the throttle. It has an odd rumbly vibration which I understand is due to the 3 cylinder engine. No rattles (yet) unlike my ...

Re: Kizashi in Singapore

Just a quick note to say that I've rejoined the Suzuki fraternity in Singapore. Replaced my wife's 10 year old Toyota Vios (that's a Yaris sedan stateside) with the new Suzuki Swift. http://i63.tinypic.com/1zzji1w.jpg It's a one liter 3 cylinder turbo. Super light so it makes for a zippy city car. S...

Re: Kizashi in Singapore

Just an update about my Kiz... I will be selling it off soon and taking over my parents' 2007 Camry. The Camry is extremely low mileage and it's 10 year COE will expire soon. I will buy a new COE and renew it for the road for another 10 years. I love the Kiz though it is rattly. It drives great and ...

Re: Tail light and parking lights not working.

This just happened to me. Sat: brought the car to the dealer for regular service. Drove home happy in the afternoon as the car always feels smoother and quieter right after the engine oil change. Didn't notice anything awry. Drove it on Sunday morning again did not notice anything awry. Monday, earl...

Re: LED Tail/Brake Light Bulbs

Thanks for the reply. Didn't occur to me those were links to the sale web site. Thought they led to photos. One more noob question if I may. These listed on Amazon don't mention 'dual intensity.' Will they work similarly to the ones that kuronekko posted?

Re: LED Tail/Brake Light Bulbs

Hmm, thanks for that. Was thinking of getting LEDs for the position lights and the rear as the easiest way of getting DRL (and rear) functionality. The local authorities do not allow 3rd party DRLs and the Kizashis here do not have even the halogen DRL function. Guess I might do the fronts first whi...

Re: LED Tail/Brake Light Bulbs

Brother DesRado, may I ask you for the Amazon link for the tail /brake LEDs? My LED installer here in Singapore doesn't have the dual intensity 1157s. (They do need to be dual intensity to work as a direct replacement I presume)...sorry for the noob questions. The price listed by kuroneko's supplier...

Re: Subaru Levorg

We just had an Auto Show in Singapore 2 weeks ago. The Subaru dealer showed off the Levorg 1.6T but could not say when they are bringing it in. Said it will come for sure though at some point. It looks great and I wouldn't mind getting another Subie (had an Impreza in 2004). But given the pathetic r...
