Re: Rear Shock failure - remedy!

I'm just replacing mine. Everything was fairly easy to get off. The bolts they want you to replace don't come with the aftermarket shock absorbers (just comes with the rod nut). So, I re-assembled everything and ordered them. I should be able to change it out when the new bolts arrive this weekend. ...

Can't lump all Pgh. owners as non-caring price buyers.
Not all. There's a lot of Kizzy's here though Everyday that I get in my car, I see more than one. And, I haven't seen many members on here from Pittsburgh.

Re: Kizashi Meet!

It's at the point where I don't think many Kizashi driver in Pittsburgh would even care to meet. A lot of people just got the car for the price. I didn't see any in DC when I visited this Thanksgiving which was nice for a change. I'm always down for driving to nowhere.

I travel a lot. I work in ohio during the week, I'm from D.C. and I'm always in New York. The excitement never gets old when I see multiple Kizashi's as I close in on Pittsburgh :). I wonder if any one plans on keep their for the long long run.

Anyone try this in a CVT yet. It happened in mine, so I'm eventually going to try to put it back.

Yeah, it's just dirt and leaves. A job like that is supposed to last up to 3 years. I can't imagine it being easy to peel off after 3 years though.

Re: plastidipped the stocks

Here is a closer look. I'd really consider forking over the cash to get my kizashi in a nice red or a glossy blue like this optima was before it was dipped.

Re: plastidipped the stocks

I find it hard to believe someone could do a whole car in it (using pressure packs) and have it turn out looking okay- like that Optima? Is that really Plasti Dip? Just doing the blackout on my front bar (using the Smoke colour) was a nightmare. It's very easy to get an orange peel effect and witho...
