Re: Paint problem
Washed my car today and found some more chips on the bonnet and both front doors :x Seems like the paint is so weak, it chips when you look at it the wrong way. Will be attempting to lodge a warranty claim but won't hold my breath on them honouring it. Had a 2003 Camry with 140,000kms that had less...

Yeah I agree with you on the lack of grip with the stock Yokohama's; they're good with regards to noise and comfort, but as soon as you start cornering more aggressively you notice them losing grip much earlier than you might expect. Re: Tyre choices and reviews - Australia only please.
I can't complain about the stock E70s on my XL. Quiet, smooth, good handling and excellent braking. Car was 4 days old when I had to stop suddenly. Saw a 4WD bearing down behind me so pulled over and stopped behind the car in front (and to the side). The 4WD came through at 80 kmh on Brisbane Road A...

Re: How many NZ/Aus owners with cvt problems
It was a manufacturing fault. A friend of mine has the AWD model and 2 weeks after a dealer service she nearly blew it up. Had to be towed to the dealer (no same as mine) who identified a missing radiator cap. They tried to hit her up for a new one saying it was her fault. She said "bullshit - ...

Re: How many NZ/Aus owners with cvt problems
No problem with mine. It's done 45K. Can't say the same for the radiator which was replaced without question at 25K after a small crack appeared near the filler neck.
