If you fold the rear seats down, you can fit all 4 tires in the trunk and back seat. I've never had issues with mine messing with the car while transporting them.

I believe they're saying the car lurches when put into gear. I know other members have mentioned that their car developed that over time. Mine has been doing it since I first got it used. It's very minor though, so maybe the OP's is more severe?

Heat shield. It goes over the chunk of exhaust closer to the front of the car. I would guess that most of ours look like that by now.
