color code for the leather
I want to touch-up some spots on my leather (front seats). Is there a color code for the leather, like there is for the paint? Any info on the exact color (black but looks a bit grey-ish) would be appreciated, as well as any thoughts on how to do this properly. I am totally inexperienced when it com...

Re: Manual transmission: clutch replacement at 90.000 km? -> 104.000 km
I took the car to 104.000 km before finally deciding to have the clutch investigated. It did not get substantially worse in the meantime, but clutch pedal stroke was very few in the end. It turned out that the gearbox prise shaft sealing had failed, spilling transmission oil on the clutch(plates). A...

Re: Manual transmission: clutch replacement at 90.000 km?
Thanks both for your thoughts. The difficulty with getting in reverse it had since I bought it .... It was 3 years old an 40.000 km when I bought it, so I do not know what the previous owner did. It was serviced on time, by official dealers, always. Today, I could not reproduce the issue on the road...

Manual transmission: clutch replacement at 90.000 km?
Hi all, I have a 2010 Kizashi Sport with manual transmission. I now have just over 90.000 km covered, and I notice my clutch is getting bad. Is this normal wear? I never had a clutch replaced on my Mitsubishi Galant in 220.000km. Here is what it does: Driving at 120 km/h in 6th, when I push the gas ...

Re: Kizashi disassembled
There used to be a German magazine that did this to their test cars when they reached 100.000 km.
All wear would be examined and an overall judgement made.
Maybe it's from there? or a similar, other magazine...

Re: Kizashi reliability?
Just got my car (back from 90.000 km service. Dealer told me it's leaking oil from 'between engine and transmission'. Not very much, a drop, but they would like to check it. That would however mean an engine and transmission out - and a hell of a job. Since there is not even the slightest trace of a...

Re: fuel smell
after first having been offered 50% compensation (ex. VAT) I pushed a little bit and Suzuki responded by giving me the new tank under full warranty. Tank is going to Japan for investigation. Euro tanks (told to be) different from USA tank, and according to Suzuki there is no connection between this ...

Re: fuel smell
that tank shows part number 8910 157 L10. so L10 instead of L20. Would this L?0 have to do anything with a revision or version? i.e. was there a change in L10 so it became L20 ?

Re: fuel smell
Fuel tank has been replaced, at the cost of a whopping 1650 euro for the part only.
Does anybody have access to prices? The part number is 8910 157 L20 000
Sometimes the last 3 zeros are not needed. Is this a normal price for a fuel tank?
