Goodbye Kizashi

So after 4 months after my CVT failed and unable to get it repaired, I decided to just get another vehicle. I really liked the KIZASHI. It was a big decision as i truly wanted to get it fixed. I ended up leasing the New Kia SELTOS. Totally different car but it's a really nice car from KIA imo. I got...

Thanks Woodie. I did reach out to him a couple of months ago. I would love for him to repair my car. Very reasonable too. However, he's almost six hours away from me.

Looking for Mechanic in lower New York for CVT replacement.

Anyone in the Lower NY area know a reputable shop where I can have my CVT replaced? Looking to get it done within the next couple of months. Thanks!

Re: It finally happened...possible CVT faiure

So I got codes P0777 and P1818. We were able to clear them and car drove fine but the whining was still there. Code P1818 was trying to creep back in. Hoping my mechanic cab save this CVT. ANYONE familiar with the P1818 code?

Re: It finally happened...possible CVT faiure

Let me rephrase that, Only Kizashi CVT is a lemon. Pretty sure that the manual is bullet proof. This is my fourth Suzuki and the only one that has failed me. At 130k. It should just be breaking in! Lol I did reachnoutbto old tech. Need to find out exactly how far his shop is located. Problem might b...

It finally happened...possible CVT faiure

Driving home this morning. Check engine light came on and lost all power. Cruised home at 15 mph. I still have about a years worth of payments left on this car. I'll have it checked by my mechanic but I'm pretty sure it's the CVT. I only have about 130k miles. My favorite Suzuki but definitely the b...

Re: So I Straight piped my Kizashi

I don't think it's that loud. I've heard worse. Did you change the muffler? Maybe try a magnaflow or something similar to give it a nice deep growl.
