Re: Kizashi Clutch/Transmission
I dont get to see many sticks since they only came in fwd but Im guessing the bushing is a circular piece of rubber with probably a steel center collar that fits around maybe an 8mm steel shift lever shaft. This bushing could probably be replaced if you could just find or even fabricate one . The Ki...

Re: Code 7E8 Avery small evaporative leak
The code of small evap leak is usually caused by a loose filler cap or rust out of filler neck at wheel guard. After a short test drive, pull wheel and sniff around filler neck . There should not be a hint of fuel smell. see " Cheap fix 16 filler neck" under technical advanced search for a...

Limited trunk space
I grew a watermelon this last year and hauled it to the local fair. I used My wife’s Kizashi to get it there https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230109/ad3446ce1c9582a52ee577bd7f1fe9b9.jpg Even though it wasn’t world record in weight, it was enough to pretty much fill the trunk and was the largest ev...

Re: Cheap fix 17 muffler rust out
My first Kizashi , I had straight pipe for both the rear mufflers with the rest of the exhaust original. It sounded nice I thought without being to loud. Some would surely object though.

Cheap fix 17 muffler rust out
With the Kizashi being 10+ years old , here in the high salt use area , I’m seeing alot of muffler rust out that legally must be rejected for state inspection . Some customers are fine with going the cheap route and eliminating one or both of the rear mufflers with pipe. This is legal because only 1...

Re: Security Code for Stock Head Unit Radio (Panasonic)
I believe the security code that you are asking for is selected and entered by owner if they wish to add this extra layer of theft deterrent. Maybe check the owners manual. I would write it in there if I wanted to add this option. There could be a procedure to unlock a radio, Try calling Suzuki

Re: Odd stalling at idle RPMs after unusual start-up noise
It sounds like your throttle body is failing to me . If there are no codes to point you in a different direction then I would try one. This shouldnt be sourced from the popular Sx4 or Vitara . Only the Kizashi but can be stick or auto. If you cant find one , I can ship you a known good one for $40
