Re: CEL P905A

So, is this the current code you are getting? Try erasing again. If it comes back you may have to recheck that your gasket is fitted properly. Was the 9 a typo?

Re: CEL P905A

I think you’re getting your codes mixed up slightly. After the battery was disconnected for a while, the car usually idles extremely low if at all with a car that hasn’t had a throttle body cleaning in a while. To cure this, a good throttlebody cleaning is all that’s needed. This usually triggers, a...

Service ESP system

The Check Engine Service light of the ESP system illuminates for 2-3 days. Doesn't light up for a day, then lights up again. Any ideas? It would be most helpful if you could give trouble codes from the ABS, engine and also check codes in TPMS.. The tire pressure monitor system has codes for your ke...

Re: Rim Ideas or Photos

As you’re probably aware of, the Kizashi uses a very common 5 x 114.3 wheel bolt pattern. This same bolt pattern is used by many different vehicles with many different wheel rim sizes to choose from. You can get a very stylish wheel at a junkyard price of a very good quality compared to some of the ...

Re: Any pics with both the hood deflector and the sunroof deflec

Even with the part number, you cannot order these any longer. It seems they were these were made out of unobtainium. I do have a used sunroof deflector that is attached with just the two-sided tape. I would part with this for $20 plus shipping. If you’re interested, Let me know, and I’ll take a pict...

Re: CVT trouble, I need help..

P0777 code is usually the first code to set. The explanation should be rewritten. It should read “pressure is lower than expected, as if solenoid B has stuck open “. The way the code is currently written leads you to believe that that is most likely your problem but on more than 500 transmissions Iv...

Re: Cheap fix 20 clutch replacement part substitute

I don’t know about the Vitara. I don’t think it was using the same flywheel as the Sx4 in the Kizashi. You could look this up on suzukicarparts.com. and see if it calls for the same pressure plate

A cars worst enemy Unfortunately the salt is very much needed with the near constant freeze and thaw and refreeze during winter months. Ive go...

Rusted out Kizashi

The other day I had my first Kizashi to reject for Pa state inspection.Unibody frame rail at trunk floor above rear mufflers. This area is normally covered up by the muffler but this particular muffler rusted out a year ago. I had another customer that their Kizashi ‘s transmission fail with 200 k m...
