Re: CVT trouble, I need help..
P0777 code is usually the first code to set. The explanation should be rewritten. It should read “pressure is lower than expected, as if solenoid B has stuck open “. The way the code is currently written leads you to believe that that is most likely your problem but on more than 500 transmissions Iv...

Re: Cheap fix 20 clutch replacement part substitute
I don’t know about the Vitara. I don’t think it was using the same flywheel as the Sx4 in the Kizashi. You could look this up on suzukicarparts.com. and see if it calls for the same pressure plate

Re: Rusted out Kizashi
From Cleveland through Erie and over to Buffalo this is area pounded with lake effect weather . Plenty of rain and snow. Humidity and salt use are very high. A cars worst enemy Unfortunately the salt is very much needed with the near constant freeze and thaw and refreeze during winter months. Ive go...

Rusted out Kizashi
The other day I had my first Kizashi to reject for Pa state inspection.Unibody frame rail at trunk floor above rear mufflers. This area is normally covered up by the muffler but this particular muffler rusted out a year ago. I had another customer that their Kizashi ‘s transmission fail with 200 k m...

Re: inexpensive tire pressure monitors that will work
The blinks of the low tire icon do not indicate a low tire but more than likely tpm sensors that are not being fully accepted by the control unit. Given that transmission can be preemtively fixed and avoid a transmission melt down is a very wise decision and can done in the vehicle while you wait. I...

Re: My Dealer-less TPMS Tire Change Story
Ive tried cloning original working Suzuki sensors with Autel units and the Continental/vdo system rejects these in the same manner. I actually looked into the cloning systems early on when I was researching how to get around needing the dealership for a re-learn. Did the cloned sensors not work? In...

Re: My Dealer-less TPMS Tire Change Story
Post a pic of your sensors. Where did you get them and what was the cost? Im interested in what you find out from Continental. With copy sensors installed and icon blinking, with Snap-on scan tool connected to the Kizashi I can read data and there the temps and pressures and sensor numbers and batte...

Re: My Dealer-less TPMS Tire Change Story
Yes when copy sensors were installed the sensor number , temp , pressure and battery work fine but make the low tire icon flash in a pattern if and when you see 3 blinks its indicating 3 or maybe more ( im not sure if four blinks are possible) its trying to tell you this number of sensors arent comp...

Re: My Dealer-less TPMS Tire Change Story
I’ve had to repeat a re-register but 3 or more blinks tell me you’ve been sold copy sensors that just aren’t going to work . Sorry

Re: inexpensive tire pressure monitors that will work
While I agree with you 100%, the whole tire pressure monitor system has been pushed on us and forced us to buy tools that we never should’ve had to buy and they’ve used inferior metals for their valve stem which rot out and cause us more problems then they save. The system from the start should have...
