Re: Kizashi shocks

I just started to get a loud clunk type noise from the right rear of my car two weeks ago. I put it up on a lift and found both rear shocks blown. They should be covered by warranty just giving every one a heads up.

Re: Replacment brakes

I was on the same site looking and the prices look good. I don't know alot about the cross-drilled/slotted or dimpled/slotted. I heard they cause the pads to wear faster is this true?

Re: Replacment brakes

I checked with my local dealership and found out the rear brake pads list for $209.00 and the fronts $165.00 plus labor to install them. I have no idea what they are made from but that is quite a bit for brake pads. I know dealerships are a little higher price but I like OEM. Guess its going to be a...

Re: At what point do I consider it a lemon?

I am pretty sure in NJ the lemon law reads something like this. If there is a unresolved safety related repair in the first 18 months or 24k miles. The vehicle has been the shop at lease three time for same concern or down for more the 30days. I gets a little more involved but thats the basics of it.

Replacment brakes

Just wondering if anyone has replaced their brakes yet? My car has almost 30k miles on it and they are getting low. Any feelings on OEM vs. aftermarket? Or does any recommendation on quality aftermarket brake pads?

Re: TPMS service?

I don't think that will work. I would try first by putting a good tire with a sensor in the trunk and the spare on the car and see if the tire light stays off. If the tire light comes on then the tpms module does not read the trunk area. I know on VW's The tire light will stay on with a good tire in...

Re: Mileage distance indicator after filling tank

My 2010 would never show above 380 or 390 left to empty. I was working on the car and had the battery disconnected for a little while and after reconnecting everything reset. Now it shows 435 to 445 when filled up with a adv of 32.5 mpg on display.

Re: Windshield Wiper Blades

Purchased the rainx latitudes for my aerio and trailblazer and do not like them. The do not hold to the glass very well at highway speeds. Water pulls back from the a piller on the down swipe. They only lasted about 3 months (spring). I would not advise purchasing them. They are a waste of money.

Re: ECU Piggy Back

I am curious if this will void any warranty? I work for a different manufacture and when the ECM is changed/flashed it can void the warranty on the ECM and possible on other components due to the modification. How is it wired in? Can it be detected or removed easy if there is a problem and has to go...
