Re: Paint peeling off of the roof near windshield, small area to start

Thanks - I think I'm in for a roof repainting job. I was quite happy with the local paint place for a roof/hood job on my first Suzuki, a 2002 XL-7 (sold last year). Just have to find some time to get it in, without the boss (wife) knowing about it.

Paint peeling off of the roof near windshield, small area to start

Just thought I'd let everyone know that at 95k miles for a 2010 SLS I've got paint starting to discolor and peel off the roof, near the center of the windshield. Its a small area and looks like weathered bird poop that has not been fully washed off, but on closer inspection its actually the paint it...

Re: CVT - what is the recommended preventative work on it?

Thanks Woodie. I think the shop did perform the service, but the records somehow just did not get transferred to a new computer system. The work I recall seemed to involve a complete and thorough multi-stage CVT oil change.

CVT - what is the recommended preventative work on it?

At about 55k miles, I took the Kiz into a shop in Wayne New Jersey for CVT maintenance preventative work. The work was scheduled without question and cost about $450. I thought it was a sophisticated oil change of some kind. Early this summer, while getting the passenger seat recall work done for ou...

Loud humming noise intermittent after seat cushion recall

Hi, topic says it all - got the passenger seat cushion recall work done this summer. Didn't have a passenger until recently - when I have a passenger in the seat, there is an intermittent loud humming noise coming from the passenger side dash. Anyone else have this issue? Is it related to the recall...

Re: TPMS Replacements

It has now been a couple of weeks since these were installed and I am astonished to find that I have not had a single sensor light get triggered. Evidently these work. Credit the Chinese engineers who can apparently copy every apparent detail of a TPMS and then sell it only to Kizashi owners for les...

Here's the "Autohaux" compared to the original OEM sensor. You can see that they are practically identical. Box shows our Kizashi OEM (4313057L00) number.

And oldtech - these did not have the OEM model numbers printed on the devices - only OEM sticker numbers on the boxes.

Re: TPMS Replacements

So I received the final three and had the shop install the four "X AUTOHAUX 4313057L00 Car Tire Pressure TPMS Sensor 315MHz for Suzuki Kizashi 2010-2013." Before I brought them in I fired and read them using the ATEQ VT55 so that I knew they were good to go. Picked up the car, and for the ...

TPMS Replacements

Hi, getting around to replacing the OEM sensors, as one busted with a flat tire. There are some choices here and I'd like to know if people have used them. First, OEM is Suzuki part number 43130-57l00. The original is made by Continental of Continental Tire fame. You can see a slightly raised "...
