Re: Driving license

In the state of Victoria in Australia, it's the same as the UK.

When I did mine in Malaysia ages ago, it's all manual (learning and testing). License holders are allowed to drive both obviously. Not sure about now.

Re: Kizashi v Mazda 6

HIDs are available here in Oz and Malaysia, but it's not Bi-Xenon.
There's a separate reflector for the high beam and projector for the HID low beam.
I doubt they redesigned the whole headlight for that purpose. Chances are, Bi-Xenon is quite common now and the reporter made a mistake.

Re: Kizashi v Mazda 6

Speaking to my cousin in Malaysia, Mazda only began to gain some attention about 8-10 years ago, and only shortly after that a company began importing them solely. It's still a market dominated by Toyota and Honda, and Merc and BMW in the higher end. They only have ONE trim for the new Mazda 3 (2.0L...

Kizashi v Mazda 6

Kizashi production hasn't ceased (unless I've missed something?), though an update is sorely needed. Ops... Sorry about the bad wording. I didn't mean production of Kizashi has stopped. I meant Suzuki doesn't seem to have plans for the next gen model. And I have a feeling they are selling them real...

Re: Kizashi v Mazda 6

Would have been interesting to see had Suzuki continued production of the Kizashi.
I was mostly impressed by the build of the chassis and how it protected me during the high speed collision.

Kizashi v Mazda 6

Just a thought, the Kizashi vs Mazda 3 would probably be a lot better comparison. They're very close in size, whereas the 6 is significantly bigger. Same with the Mondeo. LOL... I'm still lurking around :D After 4+ months with the Mazda3, and 10,000km later, here are my observations. I have the SP2...

Re: Rear Noise - PLS HELP!!!

I think that's my video :-) Like Murcod said, my Kizashi was written off a few months ago. In the few months after the shocks repair, the car had no squeaking at all and everything was going smoothly. I was going to ask the dealer if they knew about the TSB in the next service. Then my Kizashi got w...

Re: How many Aussie Kizashi owners are out there?

Hey guys. How are the Aussie Kizashi drivers going? What's happening to the car? Suzuki Oz doesn't seem to be interested in selling it anymore. I was watching an episode of Block (I know I know....), and a Suzuki promo segment came up. It mentioned every car in their line up except the Kizashi. That...
