Re: Kizashi Crankshaft position sensor

Hi, I appreciate the help. :-) So I've had issues off and on with this thing, with code P0335 (Crankshaft Sensor). It's been happening over the course of the year. Sometimes the check engine light would go on and the "Hill Hold Disabled" message came up, so I ordered the sensor part to swa...

Re: Kizashi Crankshaft position sensor

Reviving this old topic since I'm looking to replace my Crankshaft sensor (called CKP Sensor in the service manual). After poking around a bit under the hood I found it completely hiding behind the Alternator. The service manual actually calls to remove the "Generator" aka Alternator to ge...

Re: Bumper Removal, Headlight Removal, and HID Kit Installation

Good to hear that you got a good experience out of the Miramoto kit. For me, mine lasted a little over 2 years, but had intermittent problems with the ballasts throughout the time I had the kit installed. I had to swap ballasts a couple of times and the problems remained where it would work perfectl...

Re: Blower motor not working

Any links to the part numbers for:

A) Blower motor
B) Relay

Also a link to install video would be helpful as well.
[Edit: Found a link to the Blower Motor installation on Youtube]

Thanks in advance!

Re: Exhaust noise from under car (pics included)

Quick update: Got a quote from my mechanic. He can fix it for about $200 give or take. Not too bad actually. A new piece will be welded on. (Most likely it does have a hole like I suspected.) However, I did come across this piece here. I'm thinking I can cut off the heat shield, Install this fix and...

Re: Exhaust noise from under car (pics included)

Update: Still haven't had a chance to look. The weather is still not cooperating and I can't get under the car just yet. Snow in the forecast. Again, ugh.

I will keep you posted.

Re: Exhaust noise from under car (pics included)

My thought is that the pipe is punctured due to the sound. I will take a look this weekend.

Exhaust noise from under car (pics included)

Hi all, I'm getting an exhaust noise coming from the center of the car underneath. No fumes or anything in the cabin, Just a bit noisy when I first start her up. My first thought was that the exhaust pipe was broken or leaking. I took a look underneath the car near the cat and saw this. (See attache...
