Re: My Dealer-less TPMS Tire Change Story
I now have a new problem. How do I transport the extra set of tires to a shop to be balanced? My first thought was put them in my Toyota Sienna, but the Sienna has TPMS that uses 315mhz too. I don't want to deal with TPMS problems in two vehicles. I probably will put the tires in a trailer and tow i...

Re: My Dealer-less TPMS Tire Change Story
Years ago I read SamirD's idea of letting air out to trigger the sensor so I ran the TPMS reset procedure and let air out of the tires and in two minutes I had reset the TPMS. Easy Peasy. Over the years I read of others having trouble getting their Kiz into reset mode and thought it's a little convo...

TPMS simulator in the works
Maybe there is a TPMS alternative in the works! This Iron Gates TPMS simulator is supposedly only for Suzuki's in Europe and 2013+ but I don't see why it wouldn't work for our Kizashi's.

Re: My Dealer-less TPMS Tire Change Story
I'm going to drive around for a few days starting & restarting and hope the TPMS system clears the sensor error. If not I'll go through the convoluted TPMS reset procedure again.

Re: My Dealer-less TPMS Tire Change Story
After reading a few posts here I think I know what I did wrong. I had placed two new tire/rims on the front of the car and started to back up . I only backed up about 5 feet when I realized that I didn't match sensor with sensor. I could have one or two of the same sensors on the car. Since I only b...

Re: My Dealer-less TPMS Tire Change Story
I received the Michelin Defenders I ordered from Discount tire direct and mounted, balanced and installed them on my Kiz today. Took me about 3 hours to get them mounted on the rims, they were a tight fit to the rims. I was just about to give up and have them mounted professionally. When I went into...

Re: My Dealer-less TPMS Tire Change Story
I have cloned the new TPMS sensors and installed them on the spare rims. I ordered the TPMS sensors with the rubber stems because I have had to replace gaskets on two of the existing metal stems. Hopefully leaking will not be a problem with these rubber stems. I decided to order the Michelin Defende...

I agree about the Kizashi. I have a 2010 with the 6 speed manual for 8 years now and enjoy it more each year.Lockie wrote:Hey all, I recently purchased a 2011 Kizashi in the 6 speed manual version. Love the car, best thing ive ever owned.

Re: USB isn't working.
If I remember right, the USB port only works for older Apple phones or players or with a Thumb drive loaded with MP3's. I never tried any Apple stuff. I did load a thumb drive with MP3's and it worked. Later I burned the MP3's to a CD and used the USB port to charge my android phone. I rarely listen...
