It same type of material like the original. It have to be able to compress to absorb the bump. Its pretty common material for bump stop. I just realise the KYB one does not have the slit on the side. The inner diameter is the main problem. The original are loose and allow dirt and moisture to colle...

Hi. Just got 2010 SE AWD for my son and got the same leaky rear shock. I got KYB revised bump stop and it looks exactly like the OEM revised bump stop. I changed the footwell lights to red LEDs on my Kizashi. I just used red LEDs and tapped into the existing wiring.

I'd look into the service schedule of other manufacturers using the same CVT and see what they do. Either way, a drain and fill every 50k miles is probably cheap insurance
