Re: Front and rear replacement brake pads
I replace them myself most of the times. I really dont have a favorite and have like 10 brands to choice from but last i used ashuki for the kizashi and bosch for the grand vitara. Both are fine and prices of all brands are close to each other. Not every mechanic likes it when you bring own parts.

I am in the Netherlands where dealers can still sell it to me so dont know about US. But some people here order overseas from megazip and it seems to work great.

Thnx, Unfortunately i mean 1800 euros so probably even over 2000 in dollars. But this is at a "professional" shop. Probably 1/3 if i let some hobby guy at home doing the work. You have to look carefully to see the damage but its there. The cleanerkit will be bought soon from another company.

Late reply but does it work already? I just made 3 new presets yesterday by pussing the number and then the "m" i believe. I needed 1 full second between pussing the number and the "m".

Re: Rear pads tight - question
You are probably just fine. Good that you greased the slide pins cause not all garages will do that even when they should. I always check the rubber thats over the slide pins also. They weir down and when moisture or sand comes in.. The grease will disappear and brakes will get stuck again.
