Re: Important Safety Recall
Took them a while to find you LOL. I got that recall a couple of years ago I think. I'm often hesitant to let the shop touch my car (even if it's a recall) as it often comes back worse than it went in. But in this case I got it back in good shape with a bunch of new parts! I wonder where these recal...

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?
Installed new struts myself after 150K miles! Does the Kizashi need an alignment after changing struts? I don't know much about alignments, but it seems the only adjustable components are the tie rod ends, didn't notice anything adjustable about any of the connections with the strut itself.

150k mile service. Pretty non eventful, which is to say the Kizashi continues to be a reliable and low maintenance car for me! Oil change and air filters. Using Kirkland Signature synthetic now. Continuing to use Fram Ultra Synthetic oil filters.

Re: Stuff rolling around in trunk noise?
I recently swapped out a few rear suspension parts. Not sure what it could be by your description but in my experience, the one worn out part that caused the most noise was the anti-sway bar bushings...which could make sense since it's while cornering that the anti-sway bar is doing the most work. Re: Desperate!!!! Kizashi failing state inspection
What state are you in ? I'm curious what state too...make sure I never move there! There's got to be some sort of reprieve for technical issues. To prevent some one from driving their car, possible affecting their livelihood, all over a glitch...not cool. In Washington state, if the problem can't b...

Re: Subtle Suzuki Advertising
Revisiting an old thread... My son was watching Resident Evil last night and noticed the same billboard. Commented it was the same color and trim as mine. I Googled "Kizashi Resident Evil" and found a picture of the scene on reddit. The billboard reads, "PICKS ON CARS TWICE ITS PRICE&...

Kids say the darndest things!
Received this text from a friend after his family was over for dinner recently: Kelen (his son) asked..."What's more expensive a Lamborghini or Nate's red car?" That "red car" in question was my Kizashi of course, LOL! Earlier that evening my buddy was telling his son how h...

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?
142,500 mile service interval...oil change and tire rotation...eazy peazy! Also recently installed new rear shocks. Was some rust on shaft, probably from prior to the new revised bump stops being installed by the recall. Fast forward all those years and those same revised bump stops are now pretty d...

Re: What Did You Do With Your Kizashi Today?
No fault of the Kizashi, but I'm finally getting a new windshield today. My daily commute on I-5 and the unending construction around Tacoma has claimed many of my windshields so I've been very blessed that this is my first on the Kizashi!
